Privacy Policy
Impruv Labs LLC ("IMPRUV Labs," "we," "us") operates a body composition and health assessment studio in Petaluma, California, and the website where you choose, buy, and schedule assessments. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and mobile number.
- Sign-in information: if you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your verified email address and your name from that provider. We do not receive your password, and we do not access your contacts, files, calendar, or email.
- Order details: the assessments you select, prices, discounts or certificates used, and your order history.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the amount and the payer's email.
- Assessment and onboarding information: information you provide when you schedule, complete onboarding or screening questions, or are assessed, and your assessment results. This is kept in our client management system (SuiteDash).
- Technical information: basic data needed to run the site, such as a sign-in cookie and a small remembered-browser setting stored on your device. It contains no health information.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To process orders, schedule appointments, and deliver your assessments and results.
- To send service messages such as sign-in codes, order confirmations, scheduling links, and appointment reminders.
- To keep records, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet legal obligations.
When you sign in with Google, we use your name and email only to sign you in and match you to your IMPRUV account. We do not use Google account data for advertising and do not sell it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Stripe (payments)
- SuiteDash (client records, scheduling, onboarding, client portal)
- Cloudflare (website hosting and security)
- Resend (sign-in code and service emails)
- Google and Microsoft (only if you choose to sign in with them)
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case we will require the new owner to honor this policy.
Health information
We treat assessment and results information as sensitive. We use it only to deliver your services and to communicate with you about them. We try to keep clinical details out of email and text messages, and where practical we direct you to your secure client portal instead.
Retention
We keep your information for as long as you have an account or as needed to provide services, and afterward as required for business, legal, and tax purposes. You may ask us to delete your account, and we will do so unless we must keep certain records by law.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, hashed sign-in codes and session tokens, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- You can sign out at any time with the Sign Out button, and clear the remembered-browser setting on the home page.
- You can opt out of non-essential messages. Service messages tied to an order or appointment will still be sent.
- California residents have additional rights under California privacy law, including the right to know, delete, and correct information, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian's involvement.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version, and we will post changes on this page.
