These terms govern your use of the IMPRUV Labs website and the assessment services of Impruv Labs LLC ("IMPRUV Labs," "we," "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or buying a service, you agree to them.

Who may use the services

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian arrange the service for you. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Our services

We offer body composition and performance assessments, including DEXA scanning, and related wellness assessments, by appointment at our Petaluma, California studio. Descriptions, preparation instructions, and prices appear on the website and may change.

Not medical advice

Our assessments provide measurements and information for fitness, wellness, and education. They are not a diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice, and they do not replace your doctor. Always talk to a qualified health professional about your results and before making health decisions. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

Screening and your responsibilities

Some assessments are not suitable for everyone, for example if you are or may be pregnant, or have recently had certain medical imaging or tests. You agree to answer screening and onboarding questions honestly and to follow the preparation instructions we give you. We may decline or reschedule an assessment if it may not be appropriate or safe.

Orders, payment, and pricing

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds. Discounts and coupons apply only as described in their terms, may expire, and cannot be combined unless stated.

Assessment certificates

A certificate lets the person who redeems it use the purchased assessment. The person redeeming must have an IMPRUV account and be signed in. Certificates are subject to the restrictions stated at purchase, and we are not responsible for certificates that are lost, shared, or redeemed by someone else.

Scheduling, cancellation, and refunds

You can schedule your appointment through the link provided after purchase. Please give us notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, and refund terms will be shown when you book, and where they are not stated, please contact us and we will work with you in good faith.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, try to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

The website and services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, IMPRUV Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service at issue. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law, and some of these limits may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept it. The effective date above shows the latest version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Sonoma County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
